About us
A home for Salesforce architects
Architect Americas Inc. exists so that architects can learn from each other. It gives Architect Dreamin' Americas a permanent, nonprofit home, so the conference can grow year after year.
Our mission
To advance education in software and solution architecture: for architects, by architects, through conferences, workshops and shared learning that stay independent of any vendor.
Our purpose
Our purpose is charitable and educational. We organize:
- conferences, such as Architect Dreamin' Americas
- workshops and seminars
- publications and learning resources
The topics are technology and software architecture, information systems, artificial intelligence and related fields.
Our work serves the public and the architect community. It does not serve the private business of our sponsors, vendors or the people who run us.

What we believe
Our principles
- For architects, by architectsArchitects choose the topics, give the talks and run the organization.
- Collaboration firstWe learn more by working together than alone, across companies and countries.
- Community before profitMoney is a tool for our educational work, never the goal.
- Vendor neutralityNo product or company decides what we teach.
- Professional independenceSpeakers share their honest view, including what did not work.
- Technical excellenceWe aim for content that is deep, correct and useful in real projects.
- IntegrityWe do what we say, and we say clearly when something is sponsored.
- TransparencyWe explain how we work, how we decide and where we stand.
- InclusivenessEveryone who does architecture work is welcome, at every level and from every country.
- Continuous learningArchitecture keeps changing, so we keep learning, all year.
- Responsible stewardshipWe take care of the money, the trust and the community given to us.
How we work
Our commitments
Education stays independent
Sponsors help pay for our events and are thanked for it. They never decide what is taught, who else speaks, or how we are governed.
A sponsor may present a session only if it teaches something real, passes the same review as every other session and is clearly marked as sponsored. It must not be a sales pitch.
Speakers own their work
Speakers and teachers keep the rights to the material they bring. We agree in writing before we record, share or reuse a talk.
Run by volunteers
Architect Americas is run by volunteers from the Salesforce architect community. Our directors are not paid for their board service.
Money serves the mission
Any money we raise is used for our educational purpose. It is never paid out to anyone as profit. If the organization ever closed, what is left would go to another charitable purpose, not to any person.
